Today’s society is a society where people feel increasingly alone, despite the illusion of being more connected. Where freedom of choice is controlled by power and interaction prevented by censorship. Innovating means having the courage to challenge the status quo and to disrupt what is commonly accepted. This is why we build Agora.Trade, an exchange like no other. After all, life itself is about exchange. We exchange information, ideas and values with those people we trust. However most of the time, we do so through systems which cannot be trusted. Can we design a system that protects its actors and what is most valuable to them? Can we do so without confining individuals and institutions into virtual cages under someone else’s control?
